HOUSEKEEPING AND HOME MAINTENANCE BENEFITS

An insured person who is injured in an automobile accident may also claim the House- keeping and Home Maintenance Benefit. If as a result of the accident they sustain an impairment that results in a 'substantial inability' to perform the housekeeping and home maintenance services they normally performed before the accident, they may claim up to $100.00 per week for up to 104 weeks after the accident. If a person has sustained a catastrophic impairment this benefit may continue indefinitely.
